DigiStore
In DigiStore, you can buy all the comics you want. Tap on the comic cover or thumbnail, to read all the information about the comic story… or tap on the price label, so to purchase the comics you like! In the “New” section you can find the most recent issues, while in the “Top 25” section you can see the best seller comics, or in the “Featured” you discover stories you could have missed!

DigiFree
The Digifree is the section where you can find the free stories, and it works like the Digistore: tap on the comics cover to read the info, or just tap on the “Free” label to download the story.

My Comics
My Comics is you library: find here all the stories that you have purchased and downloaded: just tap on the cover… and you can read your comics!

Reading Experience
The Disney Comics app let you choose between two different reading experiences. You can switch within them simply by turning your device. Portrait mode: swipe one page at a time, use your fingers to pinch and zoom the details and freely explore the page. Landscape mode: go through the spread by tapping on the right side of the screen, go back with a tap on the left and simply enjoy the panel-by-panel reading experience.

Bottom Tab Bar - Tools & Settings
Once you open a comic book you’ll be able to use tools and settings in the bottom bar. You can hide or unhide the bar by tapping on the center of the screen.

For iPhone only, you have to tap on the left button on the bottom tab bar, in order to see the thumbnails (they are always visible on your iPad). You can easily go to each comic page by using the thumbnails, or you can decide to read your stories in auto-play, by tapping on the play button. If you decide to use the play mode, in portrait it turns the pages, while in landscape it shows you the smart panel-by-panel reading.

The forward button will swipe the page in portrait or go to the next panel in landscape mode, the rewind button does the same backwards.

The button on the right side opens a pop-up that let you save the image and share it with your friends, through mail or Facebook. You can manage the speed of the auto-play and activate/deactivate the sounds effects with the settings in this bar.

Top Tab Bar - Information
Once you open the comic, in the upper right you’ll find the information button. By tapping on the button you’ll get access to the comic information such as the author, artist, publication date, a brief summary and many more. In the upper left, the “Done” button lets you go back to your comics shelves.

Download Restart
After purchasing a comic, the download will start automatically and you can check it in My Comics section.

The download will be automatically paused: if you close the application before the end of the download. Whenever you start the application again and you are connected, the download will be restarted automatically.

To pause manually a download just tap the Disney Comics download cover in My Comics section (a pause symbol will be shown on the cover). To restart the download, you have just to tap again on the paused cover.

Settings

Language: This section will let you choose the preferred Store language through which you can buy comics.

Purchase History: In this section you can find your comics purchase history as well as your free comics downloads. Click on “Restore Purchase” button to re-download for free all the comics you previously purchased with your account in the new Disney Comics app on any iOS device you own (iPod, iPad, or iPod touch), or after reinstalling the application.

Push Notifications: Keep updated about categories and/or characters you like: just select them in the settings page to receive an alert when new comics are on store.

Interface:Interface section allows you to modify auto-play and audio settings.
